Howdy!

I lost track...

IIRC, most all of the repro M1851's are 4th Models the last and most numerous of the Navy line making up about 125,000 (not counting about 38,000 London versions) out of some 215,000 total M1851's made.

For some reason, I am recalling someone, some time, in Italy, at one time had made a 1st or 2nd Model with square guard? (My reference books are still boxed in storage.. :( )
