This Remington Hepburn is in a solid, very good condition. It has good wood, checkered wrist, with minor dents and dings. The gun has rusted brown, but really has no significant pitting, except on the butt plate and would probably clean up very nicely. It has a half octagon, half round barrel with blade front sight and buckhorn rear sight. The breech mechanism is sharp and tight and the action is good. All the markings are quite visible and it is in 38-55 caliber. The bore is rusty, but I see rifling from one end to the other and it could surely use a vigorous cleaning.
