I have a Pedersoli Mortimer percussion 12ga shot gun. This isn't neither the deluxe $3,000 model or the $1495 standard model Dixie offers. This the standard model with extra fancy stripped stock. I had thought I would keep this gun for a fur trade impression I wanted to do. But I got the opportunity to purchase a mid-18th century "poachers" flintlock (for my wife) and a fancy officer's flintlock pistol....so I guess I get I got to let this beauty go.

"It features a American walnut halfstock with satin finish, checkered wrist, 31" long with 2" drop and 14" trigger pull. Browned barrel is cylinder bore, .712" diameter, 36 7/16" long tapered octagon to round 1" at breech to .890" at muzzle. Front sight is brass bead. Steel furniture, color casehardened except blued buttplate. Lock marked "MORTIMER" with external sliding safety. Sling swivels on butt and underrib forward middle thimble. Wooden ramrod with brass button tip. Vent is 5/16 x 20, uses 3/4" flints. Load with 80 grains FFg black powder and 1 1/8 oz. lead shot. Overall length is 52 3/8" and total weight is 8 lbs. 37oz. Made by Pedersoli in Italy. $1250 including shipping
