Yep Jack...Hugh's experience needed some jazzing up.............sadly in the movie, I just kept on thinking "come on Decaprio......die already" :x ........I like a movie that causes you to care about the characters.

I watched on video the other day "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies".......much more historically correct.....and well I cared about the characters enough that at least I was hoping that Elizabeth Bennett would survive the Zombie hoard coming from London...True story you know!

Yeah, its annoying when they doop on history to that extent. Glass' real life story was much more interesting in my book. I mean, where did the son come from??? And as for the ending....please don't get me started! lol.

Here's a cool little website that the Museum of the Mountain Man put together on Hugh Glass. http://hughglass.org/

A buddy and I watched the new movie together and we both kept saying, "I don't think anyone could survive all of that."

It was more like a steep ravine, iirc. Besides, he hadn't just been mauled by a bear, either.

What was his name...? It's on the tip of my tongue...
