Howdy All,

Folks I wanted to take a minute to thank you all for sharing your time, information, photos and most important
of all your friendship. This board has to be one of the friendliest forums around. I really like and appreciate that fact.
As more folks are finding us and membership is not required. I thought I would let the new folks know a few things about us.

I would like to keep the information posted on this board as historically correct as possible. It is hard at times and I mess up
too. There are many, many forums out there that deal with SASS, NCOWS, ect. And I enjoy visiting these forums also.
But they do not strive to be as historically correct as I would like. And I would like to keep the information posted on this board as factual as we can. I am not talking about becoming History Fanatics.....just posting the most factual material we can find while having fun.
Fun being the key word. So that being said I am asking everyone including myself not to post things from the B western era,
and things of that nature unless they are in the proper place...like the Popcorn Plainsmen ect....

I am not trying to be hard to get along with but there are other forums that cater to those who are interested in that or
other non historical venues. I want everyone to enjoy this forum but I will not let it become a link for people to sell there non historical goods. So if I see that happening I will delete the post. End of story.

Again I want to thank you all for supporting our board.

Take Care Pards
Shotgun Steve

Howdy!

Agreed.
Y'all know my Heresies
On our personal Sliding Scales of Imperfection, let History dictate impressions, not impressions dictate History.

But it can be hard, as History joins and binds us, but then divides us between History-Light and History-Heavy hobbies.
