Okay....I'll give this a shot. I've got this Navy Arms Colt Paterson that I have had for many years. Always thought I'd do a Texas Ranger impression with it but never did. I'll probably regret getting rid of it, but I have a couple of items I want more...so here goes. I don't think I ever shot this gun. Picked it up with loading lever but that's all. Made this black leather "Slim Jim" holster for it and black leather waist belt with a brass belt plate with silver "Texas" star. What I want is a pair of 1805 Harper's Ferry pistols. Best possible would be to trade straight across.......expecting to get used HF pistols. If not that I'll try and sell this Paterson for as much as I can get. Prices I've seen on line range from $375 to over a thousand.....so we'll see. Serial #170 found on frame, cylinder back strap and barrel.

I've included photos of handling marks on cylinder and grips.

Thanks Scary............I used to make bout everything....out of financial necessity....well and I enjoyed creating stuff...still do, but don't have the right set for a shop, so now mostly make it in my lap now! :roll:
