A photograph of an unknown (to me) scout, hunter, showmen. The material and regalia is amazing. The beaded rifle case, pipe bag, the bowie, hat, fringed buckskins, pinned to the shirt appears to be a scouts suspension badge, it's all there.

Somebody spent a lot of time collecting some nice gear or perhaps somebody had a Native American wife (or two)

wonder if this could be a wild west show performer while in Europe? The whole gear would be typical for such a performer and with that background.........

That thought occurred to me also Chuck. The hat looks a lot like one of the hats that Buffalo Bill wore at times.
