Josh....a little but mostly on the ground.......we did more of the "manual of arms" drills with our carbines. Before my accident I had looked into taking fencing lessons there in Denver.......On horseback I got to where I would disconnect the saber sling straps from the belt and attach them to the rings on the Grimsley. That kept it under my left leg, close to the horse and from banging on the side of the horse when on a ride.......also kept it in a continual state of rusting from horse sweat.
